Jake Peavy: Another strong outing for Jake. Pretty much the only negative was he was little inefficient at times but you can’t argue with the results. One slight concern: Jake threw 100 pitches and had only 5 missed swings. Of course 22 called strikes will help make up for that.

Doug Brocail: Brocail suffered a little bad luck when a couple of cheap hits led to a run. he actually pitched better than the box score will show.

Cla Meredith: 1 inning, 1 hit 2 strikeouts. Typical Cla.
