Friar Watch

Greg Maddux: A bit of a rough start but the Professor got into a groove in the 4th and didn’t allow another baserunner. Maddux is just a joy to watch when he’s on. He doesn’t waste time, hits the strike zone and gets guys out on very few pitches.

Scott Linebrink: Another strong outing for Scott. He really seems to have regained his form of a couple of years ago.

Trevor Hoffman: It was really nice to see Trevor bounce back after a last night. He was on a mission tonight, firing 88 mph fastballs on the black and dropping in a devastating change up. This is the Trevor we saw all last year.
