It’s a travel day for the Padres so let’s take a look at some of the great Padres blogs this week:
Ducksnorts has a nice roundtable discussion about the state of the Padres thus far. Lots of interesting observations here.
Gaslamp Ball tries to understand why Khalil Greene is so lifelike yet so uncanny. This one take the title for funniest blog post of the season.
The 4SD Padres blog has a funny story about some of the things Mark Grant got up to in his minor league days. I love stuff like this, the little anecdotes a character like Mud has collected over the years.
Friarball feels the pain of Clay Hensley’s groin. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
Corey Brock thinks a trip to Portland might be just the thing for Kouzmanoff. I was leaning that way myself until I took a close look at his sacrifice fly at bat last night. Yeah, I changed my opinion based on one at bat. Sample size be damned!
Mad Friars has a nice article on Padres draft pick Matt Latos. I’ve heard good things about this kid, it would be nice if the Padres could step up and get him signed.
Rich and Bo at San Diego Spotlight do a great job covering every game. Bo is hopeful that Clay Hensley’s DL stint will give him time to figure out what he’s been doing wrong. Maybe. The downside is he won’t be able to throw at all so he’ll have to rely on videotape and coaching.
Now get out there and support all the great Padre blogs!
